NO SATELLITE SIGNAL BEING RECEIVED
If you see a Sky Digital "no satellite signal being received" message try the following to identify the source of the problem:-
*Check the Digibox signal quality -Your Sky TV dish may have been moved or knocked out of alignment. Check the signal strength quality by pressing "Services" on the Sky Remote, then press "4"
for "System Setup" and "6" for "Signal Test". Readings in dry weather under clear skies on the signal strength may vary but not important as this does not effect the quality of the signal, signal strength needs to be 3/4 across or above. If this is below then you may need your dish re-aligning.
*Exchange your Sky Digibox - If you suspect problems with your Sky box, try to borrow a Digibox (including the viewing card) from a friend or neighbour and try it on your dish. Always power down the Digibox before disconnecting the LNB cable. If the borrowed box works perfectly and the signal quality is OK, then you may have a faulty digibox.

HOW TO PROGRAMME YOUR REMOTE
The Sky Digital Remote can control both your Sky Digibox and your TV, depending on how old your remote is will depend on whether it will control a newer type TV (ie Flat screen etc).
Your Sky remote should of been set up to work with your TV when your Sky digibox was installed if your sky remote is not operating correctly or you have changed your TV then this guide should get you back into control however some TV's even though branded as a particular make does not mean it is made by that company and if you require further help don't hesitate in calling us.
There are 2 ways to programme your remote
1:- 3 digit or direct set method
2:- 4 digt or brand set method
before proceeding with the next steps check the remote codes in the side menu for the appropriate code for your TV
3 Digit or Direct Set method
4 Digit or Brand Set method
IF YOUR BATTERIES GO FLAT IN YOUR REMOTE THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO REPROGRAMME YOUR REMOTE USING THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS.
THE CHANNEL IS FROZEN AND I'M UNABLE TO DO ANYTHING
This could be caused by a few things in the first instant weather is a huge contributor to this ie when its raining heavy the channel could pixelate or freeze in this instance there is nothing you can do apart from waiting for the weather to pass.
If the weather is fine and the channel freezes then you should switch your digibox off at the mains for at least 10 seconds. Plug back in and turn the box back on by pressing the sky button on the remote control after approximately 2 minutes the demo channel should appear if it doesn't then you will need to contact us.
SKY+ RECORDING PROBLEMS
Most of the above problems could be solved by rebuilding your planner.
